Cosmetic products produced or imported in the EU must be registered on the European platform (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal). Businesses distributing products produced or imported into the EU and a person in charge has been appointed, they also have obligations to register certain items in the CPNP.

Businesses can access the data they submit, but not the data of other companies. On the contrary, the platform-based control authorities identify the companies that should have ensured the implementation of the requirements deriving from their position in the supply chain (ex. responsible person, distributor)
