The REACH Regulation concerns chemicals and their registration with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The regulation provided for a period of adjustment of the companies where by simple pre-registration of substances depending on the produced / imported tonnage they could continue their activities and provided that by 31/5/2018 they would have completed the required procedures for registration.
The regulation, however, is dynamic and has many requirements that companies that produce / import substances above 1 tn should pay attention to, such as:
-
Check if the registration process meets their capacity and needs (eg an increase in tasks may require changing the entry to a larger tonnage range
-
Check that the substance they produce / import complies with the specifications accepted at the time of registration of the substance
-
Investigate any new listing management needs
-
Communicate the data in the supply chain
